Okay, I'm going to be the sole voice of dissent here, apparently. While I would never want to be in a relationship as one-sided as that, and if I were I wouldn't try to make a "legal" contract, some people really need that.
Despite what most of us think about partnerships being equal, there are people out there (I know several--subs and doms) who truly believe that a contract like that is tantamount to finding a perfect mate. I have several friends who would be more than happy to sign a contract like that, in either position.
For those who have seen the movie "The Secretary", consider the relationship shown there. That, believe it or not, is a small taste of what true subs /need/ in a relationship, not just want.
Personally, I like to switch it up too much for something like that, but there really are people who don't. I find it odd that he thought the contract would be signed and she didn't. You'd think he would have known her well enough at that point to know whether or not something like that would work.
All that said, the guy gives me the heebee jeebies looking at his picture, not just because of his contract, but just an EWWW kind of feeling.
